This high-quality, heavy duty keychain shows an illustration of the PRR’s K4s 1361 steam locomotive. The back shares a brief history of the locomotive stating as follows: Altoona Works constructed the PRR 1361 in 1918. It ran until June 8, 1957. It was placed on exhibit at the Horseshoe Curve outside of Altoona, PA. It clocked an estimated 2.5 million miles over its career. In 1985, 1361 moved back to the Altoona Works, was restored and hauled excursion trains until it suffered catastrophic failures of the main bearing and drive axle. On December 18, 1987, the Pennsylvania General Assembly designated 1361 one of two official state steam locomotives. Size approx. 1.5″
