COVID-19 and the Alive@5 2020 Concert Series

Press Release 6-29-2020

The Railroaders Memorial Museum and Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark is announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Alive@5 Summer Concert Series. This is the first time since the series launch the annual event will not take place.

Due to universal impact and ramifications of COVID-19 we are unable to proceed forward with this staple event for the museum organization. COVID-19 has presented a mere set of challenges for all of us. COVID-19 mandates many decisions to be made that are simply beyond our control.

We will be reaching out directly to any 2020 Sponsor or 2020 ticket holders in regards to support opportunities for the 20/21 Seasons.
It is the museum’s goal at this time to focus on survival and planning for the 2021 season. At this time, we are asking the community to rally in support of our museum. Donations and online purchases are sincerely welcomed. Every dollar received is a dollar invested in keeping our heritage alive.

Much credit is owed to our Marketing and Support Staff for making the Alive@5 Series a huge success and for their efforts during this time to overcome. Most credit, however, is owed to you our supporters.

We are here to serve you and honor our mission to promote, to preserve, and to interpret the accomplishments of railroaders in Central Pennsylvania.
