Coming this Veteran’s Day Weekend!
Commemorate Veterans Day Weekend at the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark with the Furious Fourth WWII Living History Group! From 1942 to 1946, the Horseshoe Curve railroad link connecting east and west was not its typical tourist getaway. It became a guarded transportation line placed under martial law.
Come see a military garrison on site with reenactors, participate in family activities, and learn about Operation Pastorius—the June 1942 Nazi plot to blow up the Curve. Entrance is included in regular site admission. All veterans with verifying credentials will receive free admission to the Horseshoe Curve site throughout the weekend.
